INTIMATE WAXING AT HYDE PARK

Intimate waxing is carried out using hot wax. This is used to minimise the discomfort in the most sensitive areas. Hot wax is used for hair removal in the bikini area and also underarms.

What is the difference between hot wax and strip wax?

Hot wax is spread thickly onto the skin catching the hairs. It is then allowed to dry slightly before it is gently taken off.

Strip wax is recommended for less sensitive skin, for example legs, arms and torso. A thin layer of wax is applied to the skin and removed using a paper strip.

Hot wax is known to be less painful than strip wax when waxing intimate areas which is why we have chosen this kind of technique.

The ideal hair length is roughly 1cm. It is approximately 3/4 weeks hair growth. You can also get waxed when pregnant.
